Youth Garage

We're building a space in our community center that will be home to our "full service" youth ministry

Gyouth Gigs

Tuesdays from 6pm-7:30pm @ The Gathering Place (beginning August 18)

Whether through group discussion, service projects, art, music, games, or just plain ridiculousness, we get together almost every Tuesday to dig into the life that Jesus has for us. We hope to see you there!

Family Pumpkin Carving

October 27 from 6pm-7:30pm @ The Gathering Place

Gyouth and their families are invited to join us and show off their best Jack-O-Lantern creation skills. We'll have some carving tools available, but please bring your own pumpkin (or let us know if you need one)

Friendsgiving at Celebration Church

November 24 from 6pm-7:30pm @ Celebration Church (7500 W Judge Perez Dr)

Our friends at Celebration have invited us to a potluck dinner to celebrate and be grateful. They'll provide the turkey, so bring a side item to share and a friend to share it with.

Celebration in the Oaks Family Night

December 15 @ 6pm

We'll meet in The Gathering parking lot, caravan out to City Park for this annual light festival, and hang out afterwards (details to follow). CITO is a drive-thru experience this year, and we have to purchase tickets in advance. Cost is $5 per person for any Gyouth or member of their family to join us. Money is due December 1st to guarantee your spot in the caravan.

International Mission Trip

Our Benevolence Team has decided to keep our mission trips a little closer to home this year, so this trip is cancelled.

Youth Director

Chris Conley

Chris is originally from Columbia, SC, but has continually felt God calling him to St. Bernard Parish ever since Hurricane Katrina hit. After connecting with the area and its people over numerous mission trips, He, his wife, and two sons decided to follow the call and make 'Da Parish their home. Chris has a heart for helping students ask the tough questions about God, the Bible, and the life that Jesus has for us.

Our community is defined not by a creed or what we think. Instead, our mission is to be defined by what we do and how we live. John teaches us that if we call ourselves disciples of Jesus, then we are to walk as he walked.
